DevOps Engineer Cambridge
My client has been expanding over the last couple of years, and the company has moved from a chaotic start-up they have now reached the point where an experienced engineer is required to pull everything together. And this is where a DevOps engineer is needed.
It’s a new position that has been created to bring some structure and order to the build and deployment and general IT systems.
To be considered, you’ll be ideally degree educated and have 3 years+ working within the support, implementation, infrastructure, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting. I’m sure you get the picture; this is a varied role with lots of challenge and opportunity to make your mark on the business.
Strong DevOps is essential; you will also be highly competent with AWS, Docker and Kubernetes.
Other useful skills will include Linux, Jira, PostgreSQL, SysAdmin, CI / CD pipelines.
Essntial: DevOps, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker.
Desired: Linux, CI / CD, GitLab, Jira, Python.
This role will suit someone keen to get involved in the early stages of something that is going to continue growing. To start it’s very hands-on, however future pathway to team lead / manager.
