A Research Unit in Cambridge is looking for Python developers. This disruptive new technology will change the way we stream and visualise real-time data.

Using unprecedented amounts of data not seen before in other applications, they can quickly “model” and “visualise” even the most complex and complicated real-world systems, processes and environments.

To be considered for this role, you’ll be an experienced Python (Django Framework) developer. Additional skills include full-stack work, API’s, rapid development of web applications.

You’ll be joining the founding team in Cambridge, so from the start working with leaders who have an excellent pedigree in growing technology companies and being in from the beginning makes you very valuable to future success.

Ideally, you’ll be degree educated in computer science, mathematics or a related discipline from a recognised university in addition to:

  • Prior knowledge of coding Python to deliver collaborative projects
  • Working in a full-stack environment
  • Familiar with Linux (Open-source)
  • Excellent knowledge of integration tests, writing unit tests and Python frameworks.
  • Familiar with Scrum methodology and Agile software development
  • Startup mindset with a commitment to deliver well-documented, effective, and reusable codes as quickly as possible
  • Fast learner that can bridge multiple technical areas

A desire to deliver high-quality codes and a clear understanding of the fundamentals of software engineering is an added advantage.
